The vision of Rockdale VAPA Magnet is nurturing the potential of all children by having them CREATE. Through Collaboration, Rigor, Empathy, Arts,
Talents, and Engagement, we build a community committed to weaving the arts and standard curricula together to create a richer and more meaningful learning experience for our students. Research indicates that the arts lead to greater academic progress as well as social and emotional growth in students. The visual arts, vocal, drama and dance are discretely taught at each grade level, and are also integrated throughout the curriculum.
