After School Programs and Clubs
The grant funded Youth Development Program (YDP) provided by LAUSD's Beyond the Bell program offers after school care for all students at Rockdale from Kindergarten through 6th grade. The program provides enrichment activities, physical activity and homework support. Recent enrichment activites included a NASA design project and African dance. Every eight weeks we have a new series of after school clubs taught by our dedicated faculty and parents. Past programs included Spanis, dance, chess, percussion, art, cartooning, playground games, gardent, creating with iMovie, and more.
The Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock (CFAER) provides free after-school courses in visual art and dance taught by local artists and dancers. For more information, visit centerartseaglerock.org
